Process

 

Here's what you need to do:

  1. Choose a tribe that you would like to study. Look through our classroom maps and materials and notice that Native Americans are divided into groups by regions: Northwest Coast, Southwest, Plains, Northeast, Southeast. Look at the tribes within each region, make your choice and ok it with Ms. Squires.
  2. Use your checklist to guide your work. Use the resources from our Resources Page for suggested websites and books. Remember that most research starts with a lot of reading.
